Adult Day Center
Adult Day services offer assistance caring for a loved one, 18 and up, who is aging or has a disability or chronic illness and can help prevent or postpone moving a loved one to nursing home care. Adult Day services also make it possible for caregivers to provide care while meeting the demands of their jobs and families. The program also includes a Caregiver Support Group component; an opportunity for caregivers to learn, share, and gain support from their caregiving peers.
Anticipating the Needs of Adults with Disabilities and Older Adults
With WovenLife, you are not alone caring for your family member or friend with frail health or disability. Our services are medically-based and offer various levels of care based on the individual needs. A medical professional from our staff meets with you to determine the level of care required.
WovenLife Adult Day Center meets your loved one’s physical, social and emotional needs in a safe, home-like setting. Our program uses individual plans of care to provide a variety of health, social, recreational and therapeutic activities. In addition, the center provides supervision, support services and, in some cases, personal care. The program is open to eligible applicants ages 18 and up.
What you’ll find:
Daily interaction with new friends and professional staff. Activities are tailored for individual abilities and interests such as gardening, arts and crafts and social interactions.
Joint therapeutics activities for partnciapnts and children through intergenerational programming.
Dignified assistance and support with bathing, hair and nail care and other activities of daily living.
Professionally trained and credential staff, including Activity Director, Licensed Nurse, Medication Aids, CNA’s.
Whether enjoying our lovely outdoor garden and pond, relaxing in the multi-purpose room, enjoying soothing spa services or participating in music therapy, you can feel confident your loved one is in excellent hands.
